At Chez Center: New exhibit unmasks vets’ inner struggle

The University of Illinois Chez Veterans Center hosts a moving exhibit, “Artfully Facing Trauma: The Internal/External Realities of Veterans with PTSD.” These masks were created through art therapy during a two-week program at Rush Medical Center, part of the “Road Home Program.” This exhibit sheds light on the often-unspoken challenges faced by veterans and the healing power of art therapy, aiming to bridge the gap between veterans and civilians.
