The Chez Veterans Center is incredibly fortunate for our community support, from compassionate individuals to larger organizations that seek to give back to those who have served or country. This year, we are especially grateful to Denise Richards and the wonderful women at Denise’s Retreats who have generously created a food drive to stock our food pantry! Their support has made a profound difference in the lives of our Veterans and their families, especially as we begin the holiday season.

For the second consecutive year, Denise’s Retreats has organized a food and donation drive for the Chez Veterans Center. The consistent support from Denise, her team, and their contributors has been so incredibly helpful. Their efforts have helped us restock our pantry, ensuring that veterans who rely on our services have access to the food and other resources they need.
Ultimately, this donation drive isn’t just to provide a meal—it’s to show our military-connected community that they are cared for and that they will always have invaluable support. Here’s a few words from our students at the Chez:
“The Chez food pantry has been a lifesaver for me. As a student and Veteran, balancing school and personal life can be tough, but knowing I have access to fresh meals helps ease some of that stress. It really means a lot to me.”
“As a full-time student and a Veteran, I don’t always have the time or money to go grocery shopping. The Chez pantry provides food options and makes sure I have what I need to stay on track.”

All in all, we are deeply thankful for these amazing women for taking the time to make such a meaningful impact on our community. Their generosity is a powerful example of how we can all come together to help those who have given so much to our country. The Chez Veterans Center looks forward to continuing our work together in the future!
